Multiple Bounce Roll
APPLICATION:
In order to play the multiple bounce roll with a high quality of sound, speed is not a determining factor, so we have elected to skip the "open-close-open" approach in favor of one that has a more 'real-world' application. Each of the following exercises is written within a tempo marking that is appropriate to produce the best quality of sound for a buzz roll (for most applications). The "overlap" in recommended tempos takes into account various dynamic levels, drum sizes and head tensioning.
